Best of all he did it with a smile and a story and seemed to care about his work and his guests. He would find us on the beach to deliver our drinks and our food. He always made sure we had drinks whether it was poolside or seaside. From Richard, the host of Fresco to Luz Marina from Fresco and Diego who went above and beyond. The service staff was amazing and really went out of their way to take care of us. It definitely wasn't a wow front desk experience. They were often rude and unhelpful mostly Valeria. I would of preferred more helpful front desk people. I have to say that my overall impression of the hotel (despite the initial mix up) was pretty good. They brought a cot to the room which wasn't ideal but would have to do. I said I confirmed this with front desk person over the phone and had sent an email with this request. We explained that we had asked for 2rooms with an adjoining door. When we got to our hotel we were told that only one room had been booked for the 3 of us and there's only 1 kingside bed and a pullout couch. We arrived in Aruba on Tuesday December 3rd from Ottawa via Toronto.
